Byredo’s relaunched Night Veils collection: made in Spain?

So as many of you know, Night Veils are relaunched with updated bottle design, some new scents some old. As I had and love Casablanca Lily of the old bottle, of course I had to go on the Internet to read about the new one. I stumbled today across a rare image of the new packaging, and it says ‘Made in Spain’. What?? No offence to Spanish perfume industry and artistry, but it seems they have moved the production, or a part of it, to Spain. From my limited experience, expensive niche perfumes are often made in France due to the reputation of the resources and production. Casablanca Lily was made in France like many others, before they changed that. I understand that Puig, their mother company, is Spanish, but still not much makes sense to me and I am a bit disappointed. The price is up 40Euros and the juice 20ml more, which makes it cheaper per ml, and I really hope this is due to a cut on production price rather than quality or amount of extrait. A bit worried honestly that they might be reformulated. Regardless, I will still need to wait until they bring the revamped bottles to my city.

Has anyone tried the new scents and can compare it to the juice of old bottle design? Can you confirm it is made in Spain now? What do you think about this change? Enlightenment on perfume business is more than welcomed.
